Schwerdtle is a 4th generation, family owned business that has been manufacturing branding irons and  branders for standard and specialty applications for over 120 years.

Schwerdtle production branders can brand at rates of up to twenty brands per minute mounted in a drill press or an arbor press. The use of a press assures even impressions and uniform depth of brand. The branding tool comes equipped with a 1/2" diameter round shank which fits into the chuck of the press. An optional temperature regulator is recommended for consistent impressions.

Hand Held Branders
The best tool for low production branding when a product is too large or bulky to hold in a press. Branders are made in a variety of sizes to meet most marking needs and are best used with a temperature regulator to keep the temperature at an optimum level.

Temperature Regulators
A temperature regulator is recommended to produce the best brand as well as extend the life of the heating element. It will allow you to keep the brander at the optimum temperature for your particular product - leather and soft woods, for example, brand better at lower temperatures than hard woods.

Schwerdtle has extensive experience making fixtures that hold your part for branding that ensures consistent positioning of the brand.
